Robin Patrick decided to use her CD as an opportunity to help raise money for organizations helping impoverished children around the world. One such wonderful organization that she has teamed up with is Project Africa (www.MissionProjectAfrica.com) who is actively helping orphaned and other needy children in Nigeria. And if you’re wondering… Project Africa (www.missionprojectafrica.com) is a non-profit organization raising funds and supplies to help children in Nigeria, children who would otherwise have no future. This money will be used to build a safe home for girls in Nigeria, provide basic necessities for orphans such as medical care and clean drinking water along with a host of other supplies. I have personally met with the founders of Project Africa, heard their stories and seen the photos from their time in Africa. They are no longer a mix of faces on a commercial with a voiceover of some celebrity asking for money, these are real children and a real solution. Robin Patrick is a Christian recording artist with a desire to make a difference in this world. Her musical style has been compared with Sarah McLachlan, Natalie Merchant, Rita Springer, Joy Williams, Nichole Nordemann, and Natalie Grant to name a few.
The songs Robin writes come straight from the heart. Many are inspired from experiences in Robin’s own life. They are real. They are emotional.
